  • Hello Tammy and Chris. I am glad you are feeling better Tammy! I hate to bother you, but I was wondering what size cutter you used for the biscuits?

  • This looks DELICIOUS!!! And the Homemade biscuits would be the best. But if you don’t have the time, the Pillsbury FROZEN Biscuits, are the next best thing!!! I seriously can’t stand canned biscuits…so I would never ever pour this wonderful food over them!! But did want to tell people about the FROZEN BISCUITS.

  • Me 2, peelers make more of a mess, splattered pieces all over. Good for carrots but I gotta get the poison green off when peeling potatoes, it takes a ceramic paring knife, for ME. 👍🏻

  • Other than "Because Mama did.", after washing a carrot, WHY on earth do we take off the outer layer of the skin? I pull a carrot right out of the ground, get the dirt off, and just eat it – raw! I LOVE most all raw veggies_ OH! ESPECIALLY SWEET CORN!!! Sorry… I get excited sometimes. Any who, am I the ONLY person who thinks it is wasteful to peel carrots and throw away the peelings?
    Sure do LOVE this channel.

  • When I was a kid My Momma made this without the vegetables. Just chicken and gravy. When she did her flour and milk mixture for the thickener she started mixing in the milk in small increments to the flour. That way it starts out as a thick mixture which is easier to smooth out any lumps. Then keep adding and stirring in small increments of milk till you get your desired consistency.
When it was done we sopped it up with her wonderful homemade biscuits instead of pouring over the biscuits. Lord I miss my Mommas cooking.
