  • I grew up eating this but the first time I made this cabbage dish for my new husband I apologized for serving such a simple, rustic dish. He loved it! Now he cooks it for me…

  • Tammy, I have a question? Do you feel the wok cooks veggies better than a flat bottom skillet? If so, why? I have cast iron, all clad, carbon steel pans. I have had woks in the past and I used them but usually only for stir fries. My cooking changes over the years and I find that I don’t use some of them much. But I won’t get rid of them. Lol. We are retired now so I find that I cook more like you do.

  • My mama use to make her regular batter up pour it in her skillet then she would pour a cup of milk on top bake it and it would make like a custard inside . So good she didn’t do it all the time just every once in a while .

  • I have a whole set of Maxam cookware my husband bought me in 1980 as a graduation from college present. I love it. He bought all the pieces including all the utensils and knives. It is the type that you could stack on top of each other and cook several things on one stove eye. He got it from Uniway in Augusta. BTW, your food looks delicious.
