Would you please partner with public libraries to collect plastics? I know a lot US libraries are looking for new programs. I love your work and appreciate what you do
Cdc has said now that disposable masks can be reworn! Boiling or using water/soap compromises the filter, so they are to be put in a paper bag for 72 hours at least and then they can be reworn. Since these do not need functional filters, boiling and/or using soap or bleach or something would work, probably would be overkill even
I remove the metal strip and ear bands before disposing of a used mask. I sanitize the metal strip and ear band and use them as tags to organize wires, lock food item packets for storage and for various other things. It is very useful.
No bio risk. Containing/handling these items is no more dangerous than any of the other plastics that are recycled if you think about it. The plastic masks after shredding, is melted at 130ºC, absolutely nothing biological apart from those weird creatures who live in volcanic vents under the sea, can take 130ºC.
I love your contents, not only is it innovative but also cares for the environment. After my university i would love to try building one of your machines. Because it concerns me that my parents business contributes to plastic waste.
Hi guys!! who´s making that 6 carabiner CNC mould that apears on minute 3:02? We´re looking for that mould in the bazar but can´t find it. Best regards from Galicia! keep reciclyng as usual!
I love what you did with the masks! I'd like to remind that in the case of contaminated masks, they should be disinfected before any recycling project!!!
Video: With nothing but these masks we made: a karabiner Me: that's souds cool and possible Video: and this cube Me: sounds logical, you can make some sort of plastic out of them Video: that's also a lamp! Me: You mean to tell me my facemask contains some sort of copper? and glass? and whatever LED's are made of?

Yuck. do not play in other peoples sickness. it is not worth it.
people are too bitter to recycle. it would be best if governments suggested people to use material. scarfs, bandanas any rag.

I use masks when I need a makeshift hairband
But what about the germs????

Is that a hydraulic press, in which you pressed the material?
such a Humble man, what a great work.
If recycling the entire mask (metal strip and strings) would it be okay to stamp your products "5 PP" ?
AND YOU HAVE MATERIAL WITH COVID VIRUS IN IT 😂😂😂😂😂😂
SERIOUS SIDE 👍👍👏👏👏👏PERFECT!
Anyone else noticing that the inside layer is actually paper? Has that been an issue for anyone? How would you separate that?
I'm so proud of not using one mask. I was not part of the problem.

Hello, what specific component did you add to turn those mask into plastic?
As a 3rd-year mechanical engineering student, what safe handling method can we do to shred those used disposable face masks? – Thesis purposes

PLEASE DO NOT RECYCLE MEDICAL WASTE
Great idea, but shame about the believers who actually think there is something to catch. In any case the press or mold should sterilise it
How about FFP2 or Ń95 masks?
I would like to see turned them into filament
how do you handle the possible contamination if the masks were worn?
" you only need face make to make cool things "
Yep that's true cos we all have these fancy power tools 🙄
how does this have only this many views….very underrated. GREAT VIDEO
Thank you so much.. May God proper you works😇❤️
I love what you did with the masks! I'd like to remind that in the case of contaminated masks, they should be disinfected before any recycling project!!!
Please dispose them properly
Because of some recycling error I don't want this covid to spread again
And again
Recycle plastic that's more important

Here's an idea… Don't use masks!
The perfect saying for this video

Видео меня удивило! засорить планету Земля очень легко, а убрать за собой……. нет слов
just image the smell.
I want to learn these techniques too, anywhere I can learn then?
if you were smart you never bought them to begin with, like me!
How about the other mask like N95?
thats really cool!
