I'm german and it looked as authentic as it could be. A little fact, in Germany, a meal that a lot of people eat for Christmas is Sausage and Potato Salad.

I highly reccomend doing Polish Christmas food next time. It could include pierogi (with cabbage and mushrooms), beet soup called borsch (barszcz in Polish) with little pierogi called uszka (it looks like tiny ears), fish bites with shredded carrot (ryba po grecku – it is translated as Greek fish), oranges for fruit and cheesecake, poppyseed cake or gingerbread cake for sweet treat
