  • I understand why Nigerians think the grass is greener on the other side, but in reality this Ghanaian president is an abject failure.
Akufo Addo is quite possibly the worst president in Ghana's history.

  • Did he back it with actions or it was just a well written speech. Will any serious country speak same and later rent a private jet of about $14000 an hour to borrow 170 million euros to start a Bank? Anyone in Ghana knows Ghana don't need a bank. Words are different from actions.

  • France needs to get out of African business and stop trying to be Africa's overload. Stop paying the French 500 billion a year, stop printing your currency in France, stop allowing France to take advantage of Africa's raw resources, stop letting France bully Γ€frica politically, economically, socially and culturally. Mali, Niger, Chad, Guinea are correct in throwing them out if there Γ§ountry because they are greedy, overbearing and warlike toward blacks in Africa.

  • He is a joke! His rhetorics are at variance with his actions. I however admire the PR done for him in the name of "great leader". Koreans and Malaysians do not take $200m to build senseless cathedrals.

  • This was a great speech BUT his deeds for the past 2 years are worse than those of a Traitor. Not only has he been corrupted by france, he is European's point man, along with Ouattara, to destroy Mali and other west-African states fighting to free themselves from french predatory colonialism. Mr Nana has become a real Danger for Africa and Africans.

  • Ghana what independence? When your colonial banker has your currency and currency reserves held in their central bank, and then Ghana has to acquiesce, continue to run cap in hand begging for some of their own money at punishing interest rates. Woooooowh. That’s what one calls independence?

  • African leaders always show bravery and boldness but in the secret meetings they all pedal back. How come there is a foreign military base in Ghana and other African countries?
